Aztec Journal 3
Dear Journal,
I just arrived a couple of minutes ago(☹). Any way I have learned a lot of cool things already. I have learned about most of the different Gods. I learned about the food and farming. Did you know that each family had their own garden where they grew maize, fruits, herbs, medicines and other important needs too? I also leaned that they speak a really cool language called the Nahuatl language. But there is one problem, I don’t know how to speak Nahuatl language. And for Art and Entertainment they sing and do Poetry. For the Poetry the have Poetry contests at festivals. Well I have to go and help unpack my sisters clothing.
Love,
Nina

Aztec Journal 2
Dear Journal,
I’m moving today, I’m so nervous! I have soooooo much stuff that my horse can’t carry it all! I have moccasins, you my journal, I have clothes and Jewelry. I have deer skinned clothing with homemade beads. My jewelry is also made out of shark teeth, shells, left over leather from the animals and little stones from the river I live near by. My moccasins are so fuzzy and warm I can hardly ever take them off!
Love,
Nina

Aztec Journal 1
Dear Journal,
I just found out two things! Well, I have good and bad news. So the good news is that I found out that my name
“Nina” means fire! The bad news is that I have to move to a different tribe. ☹It is one of the 7 Aztec tribes. My father
“Chusi” was forced to move to the Aztec tribe or he would get killed! So now I have to move along as well. The Aztec Indians live in Mexico and the capital city is Tenochtitlan.
They also have 5 Cultural Gods and 6 Nature Gods… Isn’t that a lot?
Nina
I got my information from Wikipedia and an Aztec book.
